Skeletal Structure
It is extremely important that you learn the skeletal structure of Raptors (double-click figure A). This will help you to find out whether the bird is a viable candidate for rehabilitation. Once you know all the bone structure in a Raptor it will also aide you in your diagnosis of other bird species as well. Also learn where typical fractures are seen/found in Raptors (double-click figure B). Below are also some pictures of the internal workings of the leg and foot (double-click figure C).
